I do not have a clinic in Rawalpindi. The only in person option is Holistic Care in Sector Y, DHA Phase 3, Lahore, which is a four hour drive from Pindi and not worth making for a diet appointment. So clients here work with me over video. You get the same written plan, the same follow up and the same access on WhatsApp as anyone who sits in the Lahore clinic. To book, call or message 0306 6933336.
The Chai Problem
Almost every Rawalpindi client I speak to underestimates their tea. Four or five cups of doodh patti a day, each one with two spoons of sugar and full cream milk, is not a drink. It is a meal that nobody writes down. Add the biscuits or rusk that come with it and you can be a few hundred calories over before lunch without eating anything you would call food.
I am not going to tell you to give up chai, because you will not, and a plan you abandon in a week is useless. We count it properly, cut the sugar down in stages instead of all at once so it still tastes like something, and decide how many cups fit into your day. Most people are surprised at how much the number moves from fixing this alone.
Sunday Halwa Puri and Other Fixed Traditions
Weekend breakfast in Pindi is not a small thing. Halwa puri, nashta at a place your family has gone to for years, the whole table involved. Same with the food at a wedding, a milad or an Eid lunch. These are not moments where I expect you to sit with a boiled egg while everyone else eats.
So we plan around them instead of pretending they will not happen. You keep the tradition, we adjust the meals on either side of it, and the week still comes out where it needs to be. What ruins progress is not one heavy breakfast. It is the guilt afterwards that turns into three days of eating badly because you decided the week was already spoiled.
When the Whole House Eats From One Pot
In a lot of Rawalpindi homes one salan is cooked for everyone and that is what is on the table. You cannot ask for a separate dish every night, and you should not have to. Telling your mother or your bhabhi that you are on a diet usually just means more food gets pushed towards you, not less.
The way around it is portioning, not separate cooking. I show you how to serve yourself from the same pot in a way that works, what to add on your plate that the kitchen already has, and how to handle roti so it stops being the biggest part of the meal. If you tell me what your house cooks in a normal week, I will build the plan out of exactly those dishes.
What Winter Does to Your Weight Here
Pindi winters are cold enough that the evening walk stops, and the food changes at the same time. Pinni, gajar halwa, desi ghee in the parathas, more chai to stay warm. People who were doing fine in October are often four or five kilos up by February and cannot explain it.
If you start with me in the winter months I plan for that instead of ignoring it. Walking moves to whatever time of day is warmest, or indoors. The heavy winter foods get a fixed place in the week rather than being available every evening. It is a lot easier to hold your weight through winter than to spend the spring undoing it.
Rawalpindi clients with family further down the GT Road can use the same setup. The nutritionist in Gujrat page explains how plans run for that area.
How the First Session Works
- Format: video call, roughly 40 to 45 minutes. Nothing needs to be installed beyond WhatsApp.
- Send in advance: recent blood tests if you have them, the medicines and supplements you take, and your current weight.
- Come prepared to be honest: a real day of eating, chai included, not the version you wish were true.
- Tell me about your kitchen: who cooks, what gets cooked in a normal week, and how many people eat from the same pot.
- After the call: the written plan comes on WhatsApp, and we review it once you have run it for two weeks.
- Booking: 0306 6933336, call or message.
If something needs a doctor to decide, I will say so rather than guess. Thyroid medication, diabetes treatment and blood pressure prescriptions stay with your own physician, and I build the food around what they have already put you on.
If you came looking for one particular thing, go to that page instead. There is a page for weight loss and another for PCOS. Parents should read the child nutrition page, and anyone training regularly should start with sports nutrition. Clients in the twin cities often also look at the Islamabad page. The case studies and the contact page are there too.
