Weight Loss Diet Plans in Abbottabad

About Ayesha Nasir, Registered Dietitian

As one of the best nutritionists in Abbottabad, Ayesha Nasir focuses on results that last. Every plan she makes is practically designed for your daily habits. She doesn’t believe in one-size-fits-all diets or quick fixes.

How Online Diet Consultations Work for Abbottabad Clients

Clients in Abbottabad consult over a video or WhatsApp call, so there is no need to travel to Lahore. The session works the same way as one in the clinic, the fee is Rs. 3,500, and your plan reaches you within a day or two. See how an online consultation works, step by step.

Diet and Nutrition Services Available in Abbottabad

Most people who contact me come for one of these six things. Every plan is built around your reports, your routine and the food your family already cooks.

Weight Loss

A steady loss you can hold on to, usually around half a kilo to a kilo a week, without giving up roti, rice or chai altogether.

Weight Gain

For people who are underweight or cannot keep weight on. More calories and protein from proper meals, not just shakes.

Child Nutrition

For fussy eaters, children who are underweight or gaining too fast, and parents worried about growth or low iron.

Medical Diet Plans

Food for diabetes, thyroid, cholesterol, blood pressure or recovery after illness, planned around what your doctor has prescribed.

PCOS

For irregular cycles, insulin resistance and weight that will not shift, with meals that keep blood sugar steadier through the day.

Sports Nutrition

For gym-goers and athletes who want better training and recovery, with protein from everyday food before any supplement.

I do not have a clinic in Abbottabad. In person appointments happen only at Holistic Care in Sector Y, DHA Phase 3, Lahore, so everyone here consults over video or a voice call and the written plan is sent on WhatsApp. If you are ever in Lahore, the clinic works by appointment only. To book, call or message 0306 6933336.

Hostel and Mess Food

Abbottabad is full of colleges and hostels, and a good number of the people who write to me from here are students eating whatever the mess puts out. You have no say in the menu, the food is repetitive and usually oily, and when it is bad you fill the gap with a paratha roll, a packet of crisps and a soft drink from the shop outside.

A plan for hostel life has to work with the mess rather than around it. We pick what to take from the tray and what to leave, add one or two cheap things you can keep in your room, and give you a rule for the shop outside instead of pretending you will never go there. Eggs, bananas, milk, dry roasted chana and a bit of fruit will fix most of what the mess is missing.

It Is Cold Here for Most of the Year

Cold weather changes how people eat and Abbottabad is cold for a long stretch of the year. Appetite goes up, cups of tea multiply, fried food feels like the obvious thing, and nobody is going outside to walk in January. It is a slow gain that people notice in spring.

I plan for that rather than ignoring it. Warm food that is actually filling, soups and dal that are not just carbohydrate, and a firm number on the tea and sugar going with it. Movement shifts to whatever is realistic in the cold months, even if that is only a routine at home. Holding your weight through winter here is a genuine result.

The Hills Are Doing You a Favour

One advantage of this place is the ground itself. Walking here is not flat walking, and the slopes mean a modest walk does more than the same distance in Lahore or Karachi. If you are already walking to college or to the bazaar, that counts and I will count it.

Food still does most of the work for weight loss and I will not pretend otherwise. But if you have hills at your door, using them two or three times a week is worth more than a gym membership you would have to drive to. On a plan built around what you already do, the walking is the easiest part to keep.

How the First Session Works

  • Format: about 40 to 45 minutes on WhatsApp, video or voice only.
  • Send in advance: any recent reports, your medicines and supplements, and your current weight.
  • If you are in a hostel: tell me what the mess serves in a normal week and what shops are near you.
  • Study or work hours: if you are up late, the plan needs to be built around that rather than a nine to five day.
  • Afterwards: written plan on WhatsApp, then a review after two weeks.
  • To book: call or message 0306 6933336.

Anything medical stays with your doctor. If your reports show something that needs treatment, see them and I will plan the food around it.

Other Pages That May Fit Better

Plenty of students here are underweight rather than overweight, and for them the weight gain page will be more useful than this one. The case studies show real results, the Pakistan page explains how online sessions run, and you can reach me through the contact page.

Abbottabad Nutrition FAQs

No. My only consulting room is Holistic Care in DHA Phase 3, Lahore. Clients in Abbottabad consult over video or voice call and receive the written plan and follow up on WhatsApp.

Yes, and it has to be written around the mess rather than around an ideal kitchen. We decide what to take from the tray and what to leave, add a few cheap items you can keep in your room such as eggs, milk, bananas and roasted chana, and set a sensible rule for the shop outside.

Largely, yes. Cold weather increases appetite and cuts activity, so the plan uses warm food that actually fills you, keeps a firm limit on tea and sugar, and moves activity to something you will do indoors. Holding steady through winter counts as a result.

Something small and protein based is better than either starving or a heavy meal at two in the morning. We put more of your food earlier in the day, keep the caffeine to a set number of cups rather than drinking by feel, and if the goal during exams is just to stay steady, the plan is written for that.
